Irene Calderon is President of Calderon Settlement & Insurance Services.  She has been serving the legal community and their clients for over 30 years in structured settlement annuities and insurance consulting services.

 Irene received a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Fullerton, 1985. She is licensed in Life, Health, Annuities & Disability, and is a Property Casualty Insurance Agent.

 Irene has enjoyed volunteering with OHH over the years.  She is honored to serve on the Board of Directors of Operation Helping Hands and looks forward to her increased involvement in and support of OHH. 

Casey Johnson is a partner at the law firm of Aitken*Aitken*Cohn with offices in Santa Ana, Riverside and San Clemente, where he represents individuals and families who have suffered injuries or the loss of a loved one as the result of the negligent conduct of others, including matters involving transportation accidents, dangerous property and unreasonable insurance companies acting in bad faith, as well as cases involved elder abuse and neglect. Service has always been in Casey’s blood and he has continually volunteered for and served in leadership positions with various organizations throughout his life. Casey was honored to be invited to join the Board of Directors of Operation Helping Hands in 2017, and is committed to helping create a more humane, understanding world, and working to bring dignity and awareness to the struggles surrounding housing insecurity. He continues to support the organization in any way he can and looks very forward to the backpack project weekends each year.

Robert B. Gibson brings over 30 years of legal expertise and a deep commitment to community service. As a Partner at Gibson & Hughes, he has championed justice for his clients while also dedicating his time to charitable causes. Robert has served as a board member for organizations such as the Bergeson Elementary School Foundation and he co-chairs the OCBA College of Trial Advocacy, mentoring the next generation of legal professionals. A graduate “With Distinction” from McGeorge School of Law, Robert is recognized for both his professional achievements and his passion for giving back to the community.

Cory Sibert has been involved since the inception of Operation Helping Hands. At twelve years old Cory helped assemble the first bags and backpacks in his garage. He personally passed out the first bag to Operation Helping Hands first bag recipient. His enthusiasm and activism lead the charge from the first bag to thousands of bags and backpacks every year thereafter. Cory has grown up with Operation Helping Hands in his life. He is now a private chef and the owner of Place In Thyme, a catering company based in Orange County. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Arizona and went on to earn his Masters Degree from CETT at the University of Barcelona. He focused his thesis on his ultimate goal of creating a business that will be actively involved in community service and building a better community.

Kelsey Clifford is a paralegal at the law firm Valentine Law Group where she assists with cases representing victims and families of neglect, abuse and negligence throughout California. Kelsey graduated with her B.A. in Communication from California State University of San Marcos where she spent her last year volunteering at a transitional home for homeless veterans assisting to provide them resources for a successful future. Kelsey has grown up volunteering her time to various organizations throughout Southern California. She has a passion for event planning and leads the coordination and organization of Operation Helping Hands bi-annual backpack events.

Bryce Clifford is the Vice President of Operation Helping Hands. Bryce has a background of event management where he executed successful fundraising events for schools, nonprofits, companies and firms in Southern California. Bryce leads Operation Helping Hands’ annual golf tournament and makes a pretty good MC too. Bryce has been involved with Operation Helping hands since its inception in 2011.

Amanda brings over 15 years of experience in global business operations and strategy, specializing in international development across the US and Asia Pacific. She has successfully led initiatives in supply chain optimization, operational efficiency, and innovative problem-solving to achieve impactful results. With expertise in aligning organizational goals with emerging trends, Amanda combines strategic vision with execution to drive success. A graduate of California State Polytechnic University-Pomona with additional studies in Business and Marketing, Amanda also excelled as a collegiate All-American athlete. Passionate about collaboration and community building, Amanda is committed to helping organizations navigate challenges and thrive in an ever-changing global landscape.

Brooke Casey is a detail-oriented administrative professional with over twenty years of experience supporting executives, managing operations, and streamlining workflows. She currently serves as Executive & Personal Assistant to Kimberly Valentine, Operation Helping Hands, and Place in Thyme Catering, where she provides high-level support and oversees daily operations.

Brooke holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completed additional study at the University of Seville in Spain, and earned a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
